Do you think my doctor will induce me because my family is in town?
I have Tricare standard. My family is in town and came to see the baby be born. My due date is tomorrow and they leave Sat. Would it be completely insane to call up my wellness center tomorrow and ask if they could maybe induce me? (if she doesn’t come tomorrow of course) Thanks!
You can ask them to induce you, and if they say no, then you can try these pressure points to help bring on labor:
*Between your thumb and index finger just under the bone, there is a point that feels kind of tender. Rub that area with your other thumb and index finger for about a minute. If you feel a contraction, stop while you are having it, then start again once it stops.
*There is a pressure point 4 finger lengths inside of your ankle. It will also feel tender. Massage that area as described above.
You could also have intercourse to bring on labor, but it may be uncomfortable.
