Is there any connection between a weak bladder and premature ejaculation?
Since last few months I feel that I need to empty my bladder more frequently. Also I feel that I finish very quickly (approx. 2-3 mins). I am 34 yrs old. I am not taking any medicine and never seen a doctor for either problem. I don’t think that have any diet or stress problem. Do you think that I am having an enlarged prostate? If so, is it in any way connected to PE? Thanks for reading. I’d appreciate your thoughts.
I don’t think it’s your prostate (though it could be). Sounds more like a weak sphincter (the muscle that you squeeze to stop your urine. Next time you urinate, try to stop your stream, so you will know which muscle it is, and then several times during the day squeeze that muscle (even when you are not urinating) so it will strengthen up. This muscle is the same muscle that you use to ejaculate, so if it is weak, it makes sense that you would have both problems. If it doesn’t get better or gets worse, the best doctor to see is a urologist.
