I am quitting my job for health reasons. Do I qualify for unemployment in WI?
I am currently on FMLA to cover migraines. I am now having tests for my stomach and I am recieving injections in my spine for arthritis in my hips. My manager continually has discussions with me about my “unplanned” absences although I do and can provide notes from my doctor.
Keep doing what your doing and you’ll get fired and qualify for unemployment. You won’t have to quit. Unemployment compensation is based on the last 18 months earnings, and if you haven’t been to work, you won’t have much to draw on, then you’ll have to look for a job again with health issues.
