Spinal?????
What’s the difference between a spinal and an epidural??? The hospital I’m going to be delivering at don’t do epidurals… but they do spinals.
epidurals require the insertion of an indwelling catheter that can have medication added to it. they are used only for birth’s. Spinals inject into the same place and they inject sufficient freezing and medication to last for a period of time,usually the length of a procedure. No catheter is left in the spine and if more medication is needed then they’d reinject using a new needle.
