What treatment should I seek for a four-five month old shoulder seperation?
I injured wresteling with my son and I have not received any treatment yet, but still have pain and now have trouble sleeping (because of the pain), regardless of sleeping on the injured (left shoulder), or uninjured side. I also experince pain through normal range of motion and have localized pain to the touch on the front of the clavical.
Begin by seeking a reputable orthopedic surgeon for evaluation. He will assess your problem and prescribe the best route to recovery. Possibly just some physical therapy will suffice in your case.
