How can I prevent my back pain?
I’m a line worker at Papa Murphy’s and when I get home I have back pain that’s almost debilitating. What can I do to prevent that. I’ve heard of the insoles for shoes, but would that actually help my back?
When I was younger, my back was in constant pain because of the sports I played. I was in the same boat–I had a hard time going to sleep. I talked to the athletic trainer at my school and he did some treatments and what not, but he told me that the biggest problem was probably that my back wasn’t getting the proper rest.
He told me that when your back doesn’t rest in a natural position, then you aren’t able to heal correctly. This usually happens when you sleep if your mattress is older, you don’t get the right kind of support. So he advised me to use what was called a Bed Wedge. These are cushions that you sleep with that help keep your back in the right position. It really helped me out. I’ll put a link to what I’m talking about in the sources section.
