fractured rib advice?
went to clinic Tues- ran X-rays & think I have a fractured rib. I’ve had 2 yrs of back problems now- starting w/ compression fracture in thoracic spine…. later caused herniated disks, which caused sciatica a few times. regular dr at the time said ‘surgery’ so i ran to a chiropractor. i’ve seen 3 different chiros now & they all say i’ve developed scoliosis along w/ the other stuff. but i never feel better until i stop going to chiro treatments. now w/ this ribcage issue…. don’t know what to do, what kind of dr. to use, etc. i know there’s not much they can do for a fractured rib anyway. should i just stay home & save my $$?
You need to see an orthopedic specialist (Bone Doctor). Do not waste you time and money at quack chiropractors. They are a huge ripoff. It would serve you well to see the specialist immediately. Talk to your family doctor or the doctor at the clinic and have them refer to an orthopedic doctor.
