How can i reduce back pain?

I’m 23, and always have a pain in my lower right back area. Right above the butt. Sometimes the pain shoots down my leg. It makes it extremely difficult to sit for long periods of time. When i bend over to stretch it hurts badly. I’ve been going to a chiropractor that has helped other back issues, but this issue doesn’t seem to go away. I stretch it and work out every day and still the pain insists on haunting me. Does any one know what this is caused from or how to prevent it from hurting as much?

I’ve had bone scans and xrays of this area because of knee issues, but doctors haven’t said anything was wrong with it.

sounds like maybe a pinched nerve talk to your chiropractor about this…. I have a bad back in the same area try these when standing try to put one foot or the other up on something like a box or stool and change which foot is up often … also when I sit I sit Indian style takes a lot of pressure off that lower back… watch what kind of chairs you sit in you will find it makes a big difference…. you always have to think about where you sit and where you lay.. but it gets easier and then automatic…. if you have the opportunity to get a tenns unit it can be of great help also..
