My dog has severe arthritis and I would like to know if there are any natural forms of pain relief for it?
I took my dog to the vet after I asked a previous question in which answerers told me to take it to the Vet.It was diagnosed with severe arthritis and I now give it Metacam (strong pain relief for dogs) about 4 times a week, but I was wondering if there are any natural forms of pain relief for it as I don’t want it having too much strong medicine all the time. This is a study on an herbal otc product called Boswellia. I started one of mine on it last December. Nikki would not put her left rear down while standing. She limped. Since starting on Boswellia, she now puts that foot down. She’s no longer limping. She even runs at times. Given that she is 12 1/2, she doesn’t run much, but it’s good to see.
