Asking my doc for some medical marijuana?
I suffer from anxiety, depression and severely painful migraines. My migraines are debilitating, episodes last 8-14 hours, they also stem a bunch of other symptoms like sleep deprivation, bad nausea and bad school grades :p
I want to ask my doc for some medical marijuana but I have to talk to my parents about it first. I don’t want my family to think I’m a drug addict who can’t live without his fix. The pills my doctor prescribed me provide minimal pain relief and they’re very expensive, my parents can’t afford to spend $100 on to buy medicine on a regular basis. I found marijuana the best treatment because it helps me deal with my problems and it works effectively for migraine pain relief (at least for me it does, some people report that it makes it worse). How should I approach this? Sit down with my parents and explain to them?
