Will Medicare pay for an outpatient endoscopic lumbar discectomy? I’ve been trying for 10 years and when I say
“I have Medicare & united health care” I can’t even get an appointment:when I do I feel a “cold chill” at some of these places and usually get let go if I look at somebody wrong. What’s up?
I suggest that you ask a nurse exactly what this procedure entails. Maybe you could say a friend is going to have one and they are scared.
But it sounds to me that using an endoscopy to reach your spine would send chills down the spine of any insurance company. And some of this procedure by Dr. Jho ( who has invented his own instruements is now new and may not even be covered by insurance. (medical)
Good luck
