Is kayaking bad for people with disc problems?
I used to ocean kayak…I stopped a year ago because I was afraid that my disc herniation problem would become worse. My condition never really got worse from kayaking but from other things. My question is, is anybody out there kayaking with a lumbar disc problem? Do you have a bad experience with this sport?
I have bulging discs between L4 and L5, (MRI confirmed)
I paddle both kayak and canoe and it has not worsened the situation, I think it is better for my back.
But each of us is different.
