Lower leg pain in toddlers?
My 4 year old usually screams at night for leg pains. I did confirm with her doctor that this is growing pain. But today. she has been crying for more than 4 hours in the afternoon complaning of lower leg pain just below the knee.(may be including knee). She isn’t very clear when she explains as she is also crying.
She also complained of lower back pain yesterday morning. But didn’t cry.
Do you think they are connected? Is if growing pain or something else?
I did give her mortrin and gave her warm bath.
Any advice is deeply appreciated .. Please.
Did the doctors run any tests? Any blood work? If not I would insist on it. She could be low in certain vitamins or minerals……….pottassium, magnesium, or calcium mainly. Also I don’t want to frighten you, but I know a couple who had a toddler who complained off leg pain and they eventually found he had something wrong with his heart…….it was easily corrected with some type of surgery. I would push for some answers from the doctor.
