22 weeks 4 days pregnant and no desire for sex at all?
I love my partner and I find him very attractive but I don’t want sex at all. I feel tired all the time and I’m getting aches and pains and just don’t feel sexy anymore. I have just also started to have a leaky bladder, which doesn’t in any way bother my partner, but it bothers me. I have also put on nearly 2st and I am feeling bulky and the skin around my belly is tight.
Alot of sex positions are starting to feel uncomfortable and it hurts more inside.
I just want a cuddle with my partner but every time we cuddle he gets insanely horny. I appreciate how attractive he finds me and I had quite a high sex drive before I was pregnant and in the first trimester.
In the second trimester people say that you get your sex drive back but mine has just vanished. Did anyone else have this?
Your hormone levels will fluctuate through pregnancy and eventually shift you from wanting sex to wanting to nurture. This can happen as early as now or as late as when baby arrives. Let your partner know how you’re feeling and that you may not want sex for the rest of pregnancy. If you’re comfortable satisfying him, do that. If not, tell him to take care of himself till baby arrives.
