Laser Spine Institute?? Trustworthy or not?
I saw an ad for Laser Spine Institute that’s located in Florida (?) Does anyone have any past experiences with this laser surgery? Good or bad and does it actually help?
What exactly is the procedure?
similiar to laproscopic surgery used by orthopedic surgeons.
laser is inserted by canula and offending disc is heated to shrink it away from nerve root.
another laser technique started in dayton ohio a few years ago is even less invasive. canula is inserted through a natural opening in the sacrum..camera and laser locate the offending structure and heat is applied. i think you can find it by google..northamericanspine..
neither use cold laser
both are invasive but not as much as open back surgery.
good luck if you are to have either procedure. none involving the spine are simple.
