What are the best treatment options for a possible herniated disc?
I’m a 53 y/o woman who in the past 3 or 4months have often reoccurring pain in my upper back (lower neck), it swells around the spine, and shoots pain in every direction. its a paralyzing pain. I do not have health insurance (& want to avoid surgery), I’d like to know all my medical treatment options before going to the doctor, if this is what I have. I also can’t lift my arms over my head, or hold/move anything heavy for this will cause a “spell”. Any thoughts or advice is appreciated. thanks!
I’d check out a chiropractor first. They often give the initial adjustment and back scan for free and they could tell you what your problem is and give you a better idea of your treatment options are.
