Have any of you had a herington rod put in your back due to a scoliosis operation and still deal with pain?
I have a herington rod in my back and still deal with back pain and I am wondering if this is a common thing to deal with.
Do you guys find that when you bend the wrong way or stretch the wrong way that it iritates it more than it should and you are in pain because of it for the next few days.
It always hurts in the same spot for me right beside where my rod was put in and it’s annoying.
Any tips on how to help my pain?
You might want to call srs.org and find out…but according to them (I’m not quite sure if I got the number correct though), about 1 millions revision surgeries are need for next 10 years for people who’ve put in outdated harrington rod…
You need to also check with your orthopod and see if you need revision…
