How long does it take for a very small tattoo to heal?
I have a small letter “A” on the top of my hand between my index finger and thumb. It is smaller than a penny. I got it done a week ago by an apprentice who did a good job, but now that it has scabbed and that skin has fallen off, the ink is very light and missing spots so that the “A” is now splotchy. He said I might need to come back and get it retouched(which I do), but I wanted to know how long I should wait. My skin heals fast naturally, and there really was no bleeding or pain or itching when I got my tattoo, or afterwards.
Hey hun! With my tattoos, they had me wait about two months to get my touch ups. It’s because if they don’t wait untill it’s fully healed, the ink will start running and stuff. It’s weird. hahah but you shuold be fine in a little under two months =)
