I have chronic pain and I am prescribed medication, when I usually go out?
I plan to not take my medication for a little while before so I am able to drink. I am very cautious about this and I hardly drink. Maybe 2x a month. The thing is I am not sure about this new medication called Opana (not the er) version, I want to know what would be the appropriate amount of time to wait before I could drink. How many hours after taking the medication because you arent allowed to drink on it. The med lasts about 4-6 hrs. If I took it around 2pm would it be okay to drink?
Its hard for me because I would like to go out and have cocktails with the girls but I dont care about alcohol enough to hurt myself for it and I def. dont want to mix the two.
Thanks
Go out and have fun and drink a plain coke. Who cares if anyone gives you a hard time about not drinking any alcohol. You can still have fun and not drink. Tell them you’re feeling pretty good already because of your drugs.
