Neck pain after riding roller coaster?
I went to Six Flags on July 1st and rode Nitro, Bizzaro, Superman and El Toro. I have suffered from chronic neck pain for a year or two, but the pain was always in my lower neck/upper shoulder. I experienced a sharp pain in the right side of my neck the day after and it lasted for about a week. The pain went away for a week and then came back for 2 weeks after a party with my friends were we did a lot of moving around. Pain and discomfort is normal for me after going to Six Flags, but for almost a month afterward? Is this a pulled muscle? What should I do to make it feel better?
OK more than likely, you are dealing with a neck misalignment. When your neck gets out of alignment it causes the muscles to pull in ways they are not supposed to pull and this causes pain.
I would recommend that you see a chiropractor. They specialize in this type of condition.
