I have multiple sclerosis. How many people who have this also experience chronic pain in the leg?
I have multiple sclerosis is so painful she can barely walk. The pain is so extreme in the legs on a scale of 1-10 with one being the least pain. I would say every day from 7 or 8 every day. I can hardly walk and use a wheelchair and a walker. Is there anyone else out there who has multiple sclerosis, which has the same amount of pain as I? My doctor said the leg pain that I have not associated with MS The only medication I am now is Norco for pain every 3 hours until I can get in intraferron.
Hi, sorry for all the pain you are having .. I know first hand that MS can be a pain in the butt, legs too.I never had the terrible leg pain, but I've had in my right foot .. I felt like someone was driving a red-hot poker in the bottom of my foot .. God I felt like my pain was about 12 some days.In me, the pain was just before I was diagnosed, I was having trouble sleeping at night, so I was sitting in the hot tub before bed .. I figured it was part of what caused the pain.Now I soak in the water cooler and my doctor prescribed Cymbalta for nerve pain and I rarely turn have more than 3 or 4 level of pain Good luck and hang in there
