Cervical pain when baby moves?
I am 38 weeks 2 days with my second child. Starting today everytime my baby moves I have intense cervical pain. Almost like an electric shock. I don’t remember feeling this with my first so I was wondering if anyone knows if that means the baby has dropped or what is happening? My doctor doesn’t start checking until 39 weeks. thanks
First, Im sure that if you called your doctor she would check you now n not make you wait.
However, I asked my doctor about this, she said it is completely normal and very common. She has discussed the reasoning for it with many neurologists and things. No one knows why its not in ANY of the Pregnancy books!? So silly that no one discusses this alarming feeling.
It could also indicate that labor is soon. If you have a high pain tolorance you may not be feeling the rest of the early contractions. So just call your doc N see what he/she says to be sure. She will probly want to check you
