Bulging Disc in lower back?

I have a bulging disc in my lower back. I’m leaving for Marine Corps Boot Camp in 29 days. I was wondering if this will effect me any, throughout Boot Camp? I’ve seen the Chiropractor about it, and he told me to not over do the whole working out thing, because I would always over do working out and not giving myself any resting days. I mean, it’s not a sharp pain, just a little irritating, and hurts a little when I bend over.

If you have a bulging disc you have tight muscles in your back, they are the only thing that can pull on the vertebrae to cause that to happen. Once you release your back muscles the pain will be gone and the bulge will be going away or gone. You should be able to perform as needed once done and you will have the means of helping yourself if it would happen to go into pain again. Here’s how to release your back muscles:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and find the muscles next to your spine and firmly press on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
