14 Years old – is this a UTI or Bladder Cancer?
I’m a 14 year old male and on Monday it really hurt when I went to urinate. From then every time I go to urinate, especially after I’ve finished urinating, I get an immensely painful ache in my penis and quite a bit in my groin/bladder. I went to the doctor and she said it’s unlikely to be a UTI at my age and sent off a urine sample and prescribed some antibiotics (which is strange as she never determined what I had in the first place). These haven’t helped one bit and I’m still in pain. Not only this but I always feel the urge to urinate, even if a tiny drop comes out. Is this possible Bladder Cancer? I’m really worried at the moment. I must add that I’ve smoked on and off for the last year, never a pack a day smoker. I’m not here for a lecture on how bad smoking is for me, I’ve stopped now, but could this cause these symptoms?
