Sciatica during pregnancy? Do I have it? Your experiences please!?
Hi, I believe this is what I have. I made an appt for my dr. and am going tomorrow morning, thank God! I already had backpain for which I was prescribed tylenol 3, but I used it sparingly. Within the past week my lower back is so sore, my hip pops on the right side, I feel numbness between my legs, and my legs ache so badly. Does this sound like sciatica or something else? What will the dr. do for me? I am probably horrible for saying this, but I need some kind of brief pain relief and am wondering if they ever prescribe something heavier. I can’t sleep or get comfortable and am past the point of miserable.
I basically have the same symptoms and my doctor thinks its sciatica. I just take reg tylenol, but very infrequent. I just deal with it. My doc gave me some options. She said she could prescribe a muscle relaxer, I said no haha. You could rest on a heating pad. Take a warm bath. Get a prenatal massage. I hope you feel better. I have had this pain since about 10 weeks….and Im 33 now
