Is the message Herapetic shingles neuralgia causes back pain?
I had shingles years 14 during pregnancy. I am a 37 year old woman old. For over seven years now, when someone touches my back somehow I scream in pain. I've been to several doctors, two were specialists ago choiropractors 3, 1 theropist, acupuncture. Not a doctor understands why I am. There is no medicine helps. The only thing that appears in my blood is the Epstein Barr syndrome. All say its no big deal, almost everyone has it. I have epelepsy (grandmal and pitimal) and has been taking depekene for over 25 years. Taking Depo Provera for about 15 years. There were two cesarean epedorals and while pregnant 15 years ago had shingles. Could any of these is a factor? My X-rays and mild arthritis MRI shows the lumbosacral junction in the L5-S1 level. The pain level is much softer. He said that the shingles could lead to a virus that will not go ever, is true and what relieves the pain??
Anyone who has ever had chickenpox or herpes labialis (or cold) is carrying the virus and that can come shingles. I luckily I have on my shingles, but I know one lady who is 88 and in pain every day on the left side of tiles that was when I was younger. Not take the medication, but my doctor gave me Valtrex (which used for genital herpes) and stopped the pain. I do not know with epilepsy can take, but you can ask your doctor about that. I hope to be, a horrible pain.
