sitting on the floor all day-speech therapist-back pain?
My mom is a speech therapist which means she goes from home to home all day and sits on the floor with children at least 8 hrs a day, I wanted to buy her a special pillow/chair that would support her back a little (she complains about the back pain and how uncomfortable it is for her) but I have no idea where to buy such a thing or what it would be called. Please help if you have any information or links, thanks so much!!!
p.s. by the way sitting at a table or desk is out of the picture, because she cant interact with the child as much…
She might not want to wear it, but a weight lifting belt gives the best support. There are also other types of support that people wear when lifting heavy things.
Drug stores, maybe even Target or WalMart might have what you are looking for – a chair with no legs or something like that.
