What can I eat or drink to help my liver as I take daily medication for back pain twice a day?
Every morning after breakfast i take my medicine 1/2 a pill, after lunch i take the other 1/2,unless i feel more pain then usuall then I take the hole pill. Ocasionally my stomack as a burnning sensation,could it be taking my medicine to often?

Shawn here. I was a chef for 30 years and had a liver transplant 9 months ago. Here are some food groups and foods for you to try.
Fiber such as Sweet potatoes, Broccoli, carrots, green peppers, mushrooms any bean. Grains and pasta, your better off with brown rice, brown breads. just remember if it’s white think twice…Fruits, apple, pear, figs, apricot,peach.blueberry are best also banana, grapes, strawberry….peanut butter, yogurt oysters, zucchini, tofu….Avocado,any nuts or seeds, spinach, cottage cheese….as for meats, chicken, fish, shrimp, liver (any kind), lamb, beef if its lean,,,,poultry goos as well as fish. these are best.
