What is the best doctor to diagnose a sore back – Doctor Medicine and Doctor of Chiropractic?
Being a Doctor of Chiropractic, one would think I would vote for chiropractic. However, both are equally good, as long as they are in all cases. Back pain is always a combination of minor problems including the muscles and joints. There are four main models that lead to back pain arising from the various postural changes in the pelvis and spine. All these can easily work yourself (See http://www.back-pain-advisor.com). If you think it is more serious, then you need to see your doctor as it may prescribe pain relief or refer to a specialist if you think you have something more serious. – But for 99% of people with back pain is minor and either a CD or MD are similar just depends on what kind wan t of treatment – or treatment.
