Would you recommend tis operation based on your experience?
I have several problems with my back including herniated discs and arthritis. I am very obese (70″ 300 lbs.).
THe pain is excruciating. I am 63 years old. I have a TENS unit, which controls the pain for 2-3 hours. The DOC says I would have less pain if I had an operation.
For starters you need to get some of the weight of your bones, THAT alone will cause you to have 100% more pain with arthritis especially in the knees, back, and shoulders. IF you can afford to wait, talk to your docotr about weight lose first, after you loose 100LB or so then if the pain is still bad you could consider the operation. but it’s no good if you don’t get your self into shape. Think of this day as the first day of your NEW life. I know you are capable of doing this, because you had the courage to ASK for help. Remember you are only as YOUNG or old as you feel, and in this day and age 63 is NOT old, it’s the NEW middle age. so get up and get going. GOOD LUCK MY FRIEND
